Buy regular fresh mushrooms (the white kind you can find in Kroger, nothing fancy), wash them and pull the stalk out so you only have the caps. Place a thin layer of your favorite can or jar spaghetti sauce. I used Prego chunky vegetable. In the bottom of a pan at least an inch high. Mix about two pounds of hamburger with the mix and an egg. Stuff each mushroom cap with a meatball and place in pan (meatball side up) so they are all touching and tight in the pan. Pour the rest of the sauce over the top and bake for about 30 minutes at 350. Watch them so they don't overcook. (I had a meat thermometer and let them reach 150) Then top with a shredded cheese (I used parmesan) and place under the broiler until the cheese melts a little bit. I tried to make them small enough so you could pop a whole meatball in your mouth at once and they were DELICIOUS! I made a few bigger ones with the larger mushroom caps and we had those the next day for dinner. Had to cut them up to eat them. They were even better as leftovers. - Customer - 12/28/07

We tried the meatball mix last night. We really liked it. My husband is Italian and loves his meatballs. So for him to like it, that is a big deal. Instead of putting them over pasta, we made Italian meatball subs. We put them on a hoagie bun, added more sauce and topped it with mozzarella cheese (I added a bit of onion to mine, because I love onion.) It was very delicious and very filling and we had quite a few left over. It seemed like every time we walked by the refrigerator we ended up just grabbing a meatball cold and eating them with our fingers. Will for sure buy these again. Julie T - Consultant - 11/3/07

Wow. Have you tried our Sicilian Meatball Mix? I love it for meatballs and meatloaf, but last week I decided to try it for burgers. THEY WERE SOOOOO GOOD! To make meatballs, the package calls for 1 1/2 lbs. of meat, I used a package of meat slightly over 2 lbs. and it seemed just right. Also added some steak sauce to the ground meat. Definitely recommend it! Erin #0654 - 7/9/05
