Just returned last night from a week long vacation to Orlando. As I always do when I travel, I stayed in a condo and did my own cooking. There were 6 of us this time and I grabbed some Kat's mixes to use in the cooking. I had the Home-style Dip as well as the Jalapeño Ranch dip and everyone loved them. I THOUGHT I had another dip mix, but I accidentally had packed the Skettie Sauce mix! Everyone was asking for more dip, so I made the skettie sauce mix using the dip DIRECTIONS!!! It made a dip with a slightly sweet flavor, but some of the group loved it. EVERYONE ate it but some said they didn't care for it as much as the "real dip" while others in the group really liked that slightly sweet flavor. Cherie S - Consultant - 4/8/08

Take our skettie sauce and cook as stated on the package but cook in a skillet. When it is ready and warmed through, poach eggs in the skettie sauce. We used 8 eggs for our family - crack as many as you need or that will fit into your skillet, right on top of the skettie sauce. Cover with a lid and cook until the eggs are done. When done, place your egg/s and some sauce on a piece of bread or toast. For your side, sauté some spinach or serve with a green salad. Kat - Owner - 1/29/08 (as seen on The Martha Stewart show)

The skettie sauce is my absolute favorite dinner mix from Kat's. I always have to order more than one package on every order I place! Sometimes I even use it by adding the mix to a jar of Ragu & cooking it for a little while rather than following the directions on the package. It is soooo good (and very easy), any way it is used!
