I made the zesty taco soup for new years day. I doubled my recipe (2 mixes), placed it in my large crock pot and let it simmer on low for about 6 hours. I provided shredded cheese and chopped onion for garnish. It was a hit - I had 15 guests and they ate it all. I also made the cornbread to go with it, which complemented the soup very well. This was VERY good. My husband and I thought it was a little bit more like a taco chili, but we love chili. Maybe just because it was thick. It makes a big difference after adding sour cream and tortilla chips. Julie T - Consultant - 10/18/07
